🎈 Balloon Styling & DIY Care

How do I inflate the balloons I order?

All of our premium balloons are shipped flat-packed and deflated straight to your door.

• Foil Numbers & Shapes: Can be easily air-inflated at home using a standard straw (inserted into the self-sealing valve) or inflated using a hand pump. If you want them to float, you can take them to your local party supplier or florist to be filled with helium.
• Latex Balloons & Garlands: We highly recommend using a handheld balloon pump or an electric inflator for quick and easy setup.

How long will my balloons last once inflated?

Because you control when they are filled, you get maximum freshness!

• Air-Inflated Balloons: If filled with normal air (not helium), latex and foil balloons can remain inflated for weeks when kept indoors!
• Helium Float Times: If you choose to fill them with helium locally, standard latex balloons typically float for 12 to 24 hours (unless treated with a balloon hi-float coating), while Foil (Mylar) balloons generally float for 3 to 7 days.
• Pro-Tip: Keep your inflated balloons away from direct sunlight, sharp objects, and extreme temperature changes to prevent popping.

Do you sell DIY Balloon Garland Kits?

Where do you ship to?

Party Affair is proud to ship our entire catalog of deflated balloons, partyware, and baking supplies Australia-wide.

How quickly can you process and ship my order?

We know party timelines are strict! We pack and dispatch all online orders within 1–2 business days. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email to monitor your delivery progress. We highly recommend placing your order at least 1–2 weeks before your event to ensure it arrives safely in time.

Can I get express shipping?

Yes. We offer both Standard and Express shipping options at checkout. If you have a last-minute party emergency, choosing Express shipping at checkout will fast-track your package via Australia Post's express network.

🛒 Ordering, Returns & Corporate

What is your return policy?

We want you to be thrilled with your party decorations. We accept returns on unopened, unused, and factory-sealed packaged partyware within 30 days of purchase. Please note that for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been opened, costumes, wigs, or balloons that have already been inflated or altered.

Do you sell items in bulk for corporate events or large parties?

Absolutely! We regularly cater to schools, corporate functions, and large-scale event planners. If you need a large volume of specific matching tablewares, solid color latex packs, or theme decorations, please contact us via our dedicated Bulk Orders contact page to discuss volume availability and potential bulk tier pricing.

Can you help me coordinate a party theme?
